Inside the World of the Recording Studio

Discover what happens inside a professional recording studio on a personal tour of the recording facilities. 

Practical hands on session, recording a chosen “piece” which your pupils know and leave with it on CD.

Students will be taken through the process of a creating a recording with guidance from our in-house record producer, involving an introduction to the equipment and what it does.Lively discussions around sound and how it works, hear examples of recordings, compare and contrast productions, discuss techniques and production styles.

Studio Introductory Course

An opportunity to get hands on experience learning how to record, mix and master in the studio alongside industry professionals.

  • Learn in a commercial recording studio
  • Learn how to record, mix and master a piece of music
  • Leave with your project mixed and mastered on CD

Duration: 21 hour course divided into 6 sessions.

Electronic Music Composition Course

An in depth course for those keen to learn how to write music using audio software packages, virtual instruments and samples.

  • Learn how to build your own beats
  • Learn how to use loops and samples
  • Learn how to use a D.A.W and plug-ins
  • Learn about producing and mixing

Duration: 21 hour course divided into 6 sessions.
