Our acceptance of your booking is conditional on your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
When you make a booking with Factory St. Studios we block the room for you and do not accept any further bookings in that room for that time. We do not oversell our capacity and therefore rely on our customers honouring their booking. You can cancel or change the time of your booking free of charge at any point up to 1 day before the start of your booking. If you change or cancel your booking after that point we will charge you an administrative fee equal to 100% of the room price. This is because we are usually unable to obtain replacement bookings at such a late stage.
We are currently offering a discount to customers who pay for their booking in advance. Payment can be made on-line via Paypal or in person in cash at Factory St Studios. The discount is credited to your account when you make the booking (and listed in the account statement you see before pressing the 'book' button): provided you pay the discounted balance 1 day before the start of your booking, your bill will be considered to have been settled in full. If you do not pay the discounted balance 1 day before the start of your booking the discount will automatically expire, and you will have to pay the full amount without a discount in cash when you arrive at Factory St Studios for your session.
We provide a pleasant and friendly environment for our customers and consider your safety and security to be of the utmost importance. We ask that you and your band always "check-in" at reception 10 minutes before the start of your session, so that we know who is legitimately on-site. This helps us prevent unwanted intrusion and is paramount for your protection and the security of your equipment. We also request that you respect the Factory St. Studio facilities and, as the person making the booking, take full responsibility for the people accompanying you for your session. In the event of damage to our rooms or equipment you will be charged the cost of repair or replacement, and by making a booking you are accepting this condition.
Factory St. Studios do request that you provide contact details when you make a booking. This is primarily in the interests of security and safety, and for accounting requirements, but also for the event of our needing to contact you prior to the session. We further hold these contact details in our database after the booking to facilitate your future bookings (fewer fields to fill-in on-line) and to be able to offer you special pricing and offers for loyal customers. If you do not wish us to store this data beyond the end of your session, then we will respect that. We use your e-mail address to keep track of who you are, and once you have filled that e-mail address into the booking form, you can return to this page, and will then have the option to mark your request not to store your data. (Right now we do not have any practical way to store the fact that you do not want to be archived in the database, as we do not know who you are - sorry for this slightly complicated process...)
